Volunteer Opportunities
We are currently looking for a couple or individual to manage one of our centres in Southern Malawi. The centre is located about a 3 hour drive from Blantyre. it caters for 135 children approximately including substations
It is preferred that the successful applicants are church backed or privately funded. accommodation and transport will be provided. the manager will be backed by Malawian staff who look after all the childrens needs and the upkeep of the centre and substations.
The volunteer opportunity will last for one year or more if the applicants wish it. Training will be provided, you do not need to know the local language as most have learned English and there is always an interpreter if needed. the trustees of the charity are always in contact with the centres and visit on a regular basis, bringing funds and supplying things needed.

volunteers are also invited to come on a short term basis self funded to interact with the children and staff. these visits usually last from 2-3 weeks or a month or so.
